It's not that I don't know the meaning of the word, it's that I'm wondering if other people are not allusive talking to strangers.
Oh, yes, strangers are so helpful to talk to. In prehistoric times people used to pick up a hungry/thirsty stranger at railway stations, and while they were feeding him/or drinking with him they would talk themselves out, and then returned home as if anew. Now that we are enjoying the Internet, it's a matter of 2 secs to find the right person. You don't even have to feed him or drink with him, you don't even have to watch, smell or touch him. And, if by any chance you said too much, or the person is not good enough for another talk, you can block him out. It really looks as easy as that.
And, yet, regarding this, do people tend to be open, do they really want to reveal their secrets? I fairly doubt they do. I don't mean those who is sort of advertising him/herself. I mean common people wandering through web pages, chatting here and there...
'Hi, how are you?' - 'Fine, and you?' - 'Fine, thnx' - isn't it the first trap leading somewhere away from what is real? Oh, I know these phrases should be practised ten thousand times at least to be uttered with ease, if one cares to sound English. Yet, isn't it the first allusion implying 'I don't want to know much about you, don't bother telling me your problems'? Does anyone happen to know the right answer to 'I am not well/sick/etc'?.. It's 'Oh, no!'
A human was made to be sociable. People who is not are called autists. It's really dreadful to be left out in the cold. However it's desperate to do it on your own... While part of me is longing to be with others, the other one will never come out of itself. Is it human, or is it only me going mad?
So, does anyone know what it really means being allusive?
ps. Mind, the pronouns were changed to protect the innocent!
