If as many have it shopping has a propensity to lift spirits, then I should be on cloud nine judging by the sum I have parted with within the last 20 hours... Alternatively I could stretch out my general happiness till Christmas, it would definitely be less costly.


Also, the last shop-tour to Metro was a real test of my concentration ability. What is more, it disclosed my predilection to stationery.


Hm, I need more space on my writing table... or should it be a larger table instead?
