Curiosity is the very basis of education and if you tell me that curiosity killed the cat, I say only the cat died nobly.
There are lots of holidays in my country and it is rather difficult to choose the most popular one as now different groups of people celebrate different holidays which they consider the most popular important. The people I am in touch associated with celebrate Christmas and Easter, Easter which is actually called Pascha in Russia. Pascha is said to be the greatest holiday in the Russian year and is celebrated for a week. It should be said that the celebrations of the feast starts on Saturday when almost all Russian people come to churches to hallow Easter cakes and eggs. It is the Saturday when Holy Fire comes down in Jerusalem. On Sunday night we attend a holiday service and it is beyond any words to describe the joy and happiness people feel in their hearts. We usually do not work for the next week but attend services and visit our relatives and friends to exchange Easter eggs. This custom originates in the 1st century and is connected with St.Maria of Magdala. We also watch the sunrise as the sun doesn't burn eyes on Pascha.
