Curiosity is the very basis of education and if you tell me that curiosity killed the cat, I say only the cat died nobly.
As a rule it takes me from half an hour up to a couple of hours to wake up. Not today, though.
It was nearly six in the morning when I was awoken by words coming from somewhere.
Actually, there were two streams playing separately and yet in unison; the first was like: 'Sometimes a student is beyond the teacher's hand and it's up to the teacher's whether to teach him or to broom him';
at the same time the other murmured: 'I know all the words you are going to tell me. You know all the words I am going to tell you. So, what shall we do? - Let's exchange them! Let's chat!'
I was lying with eyes open wide, listening to them again and again.
Was it a nightmare, I wonder?
upd. another English teacher couldn't explain what it might mean (leave alone my being tired and too reflexive)
